Ruling over countless other boards to be awarded a “Top Freestyle Board” by TWS last year was no easy task. With the features of the Sly though, we knew it would ride away a winner. Designed with a freestyle influence that embraces today’s progressive riding needs, this board comes equipped with the tools to devastate the local rails and every resort park in between.
This core was developed to put THC quality in the hands of riders who want response but with slightly more forgiveness. With the power of Wood (feel/liveliness), Microcell (stability) and a Dual Torsion Box, this core is found in some of our best sellers like the TWS awards winning Sly and Diva.
The thick design of this sidewall construction gives riders solid edge hold and added strength. This results in the quickest rider-to-board energy transmission for on point response.
This unique RS feature reinforces the already proven high performance of our THC and CC designs. By infusing torsion boxes, wrapped with two layers of our “secret” fiberglass, a rigid structure is created between the topsheet and the base directly over the edges of the board. This keeps the center of the board torsionally smooth for better ridability.
An extremely durable base that is sintered, providing speed in any snow condition from the Ice Coast to wet powder, it relies little on regular wax jobs to maintain the quality.
Our stone grinding process produces a board complete with a vertical structure finish. This finish accelerates the friction reduction process on a base, allowing a board to achieve maximum speed.
The measurements on a progressive sidecut rely on having a smoother entry into a turn with a snappy exit that gets progressively quicker as a rider exits a turn.
