Chalet Chardons is a cheap hotel in Tignes for skiing and snowboarding. Run by a group of skiing and snowboarding friends who became bored with washing dishes to finance their winter seasons, we make our ski and snowboard hotel in Tignes a fun, informal place to stay for groups, budget minded travellers, students and backpackers who prefer to ski, snowboard, enjoy good company, home cooking, friendly staff and perhaps a few late night parties over pretentious chalets and overpriced ski hotels. We specialize in keeping our ski and snowboard hotel prices cheap so you can participate in all the skiing and snowboarding you want during the day and use more of your money to have fun with at night.

As a part of the ski resort of Tignes, which boasts the largest glacier skiing in Europe, we have a long winter season from early November, when the first ski and snowboard race groups turn up to train, to the end of April when Tignes les Brevieres closes. The glacier stays open all year round for summer skiing, snowboarding and fun park action. Snow cover is not an issue, as even the glacier boasts 50 km of runs, whilst the whole Espace Killy claims 300 km of runs, nearly 100 lifts and almost unlimited off piste ski and snowboard potential.


Most of our ski and snowboard hotel visitors staying with us choose a half board package with room, continental breakfast and a three course evening meal with wine included. We also offer attractive price reductions to our guests in our Tignes hotel residents bar, and in the lively ski and snowboard Underground Bar.
